What if I want to extend or shorten the car rental?

Extending or shortening the rental is possible with prior written notice. The price will be calculated according to the current rate list, and vehicle availability must be ensured.

Can I change the pick-up or drop-off location during the rental?

Changing the location is possible with prior notice and may incur additional costs, depending on the rental terms.

How long after returning the vehicle will my deposit be released (funds reservation)?

Your deposit will be refunded after rental costs are deducted, and the remaining amount should be automatically released. The refund may take 30 to 40 days to appear in your account, depending on your credit card and bank.

What if there is a traffic accident or vehicle damage?

Immediately contact our technical support service. Depending on the type of insurance, some damages may be covered, while others may require compensation. If necessary, a vehicle replacement will be arranged within 24 hours.

What should I do in case of a traffic fine or violation?

All fines and violations incurred during the rental are the driver’s responsibility. Fines are charged according to local regulations and may include administrative fees.

Can vehicle insurance, a cross-border or ferry supplement, and an additional driver be added to the rental agreement afterwards?

Yes, it is possible to add additional services to an existing rental agreement, including:

  • Vehicle insurance (e.g. comprehensive or additional damage insurance),
  • Cross-border or ferry supplement,
  • Additional driver.

To add these options, a written request must be sent to rentacar@uniline.hr or made in person at one of our offices. Please note that additional services are charged according to the current price list and their availability depends on the vehicle type and rental duration.
